Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only 

Aside from formal courses of study at universities while pursuing degrees in music, professional development, strategies and pedagogical techniques are not readily available aside from professional music educators' conferences. By attending the music conference, participants improve their teaching skills, musicianship and knowledge of the ever changing trends in music education, contemporary techniques, and the availability/use of new (and old) resources.

What You Will Learn

  • Attend at least 16 contact hours with instructors from the US and Europe who are specialized in music education specialty areas of instrumental music, choral, general, guitar, voice, music technology and assessments
  • Apply information/skills/ideas learned into music classroom/workplace
  • Submit documentation explaining how the educator used or will use the information/skills/ideas learned at the conference into their classroom/workplace and what the outcome was.
