Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

This course is designed to empower educators with the skills and confidence needed to effectively present instructional strategies, thereby enhancing their professional agency and fostering a collaborative learning environment. Participants will engage in two comprehensive sessions focused on building capacity, with an emphasis on the practical application of AVID methodologies. Aligned with the recently updated performance elements of content ISSs, participants will plan, teach, coach, monitor, and adjust when modeling quality expectations. Through practical application, reflective practices, and the analysis of both student and staff work samples, learners will develop the ability to deliver high-quality instruction, adapt strategies for continuous improvement, and contribute to a supportive educational community. This training series is recommended for all Instructional Systems Specialists and AVID Coordinators who provide professional development throughout the school year.
