Our fully online-self paced Project Management Certificate program is designed to sharpen your project management skills and deepen your understanding of essential strategies and methodologies.

You’ll learn to plan and manage projects using standard Project Management Institute (PMI)® methodology while building a solid foundation for project success by applying the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) framework.

To prepare you for today’s rapidly evolving workplace, the program incorporates AI‑enhanced project management practices. You’ll explore how AI tools can support project planning, risk forecasting, resource allocation, scheduling, and communication. Through guided activities, you’ll learn how to evaluate AI outputs, integrate them into project workflows responsibly, and use them to improve decision‑making and project outcomes.

By the end of the certificate, you’ll be equipped with a modern, industry‑aligned project management toolkit to lead projects more efficiently and confidently across a wide range of industries.

Certificate Requirements

To earn a professional certificate in Project Management with AI, participants must:

• Complete the four required courses (course fee: $599 per course)
• Complete all coursework with a final grade of C or better
• Submit a one-time certificate fee of $75

Online/In-Class Learning Information

Courses offer a convenient, yet rigorous style of learning that allows you to structure your education to suit your schedule while keeping you on pace toward achieving your educational.

Online Self-Paced

Our online self-paced courses are similar to online fixed-date courses, but are designed to give you a six-month period from time of enrollment to complete all assignments. Your instructor will provide feedback via written responses on your assignments and exams. Grades are based on completed projects, assignments and exams.

How is the self-paced course structured? Like fixed-date courses, online self-paced courses are asynchronous meaning that you can work on your assignments anytime; the difference being there are no assigned due dates in self-paced courses. The content is divided into learning modules. Each module will cover one or more topics. Within each of the learning modules, you can expect the following components:

• Module introduction that outlines what you can expect to learn in the module.
• Required readings (textbook, articles, journals, websites, etc.) and presentations (audio and/or video).
• Assignments (which may include: written assignments, quizzes, blogs, etc.) based on the readings and presentations.
• Module conclusion to review the topics and what you should have learned.
• Typically, there is a final project, paper, or exam due in the last module that culminates all of the topics covered in each of the learning modules. You’ll find that the design of the learning modules has a rhythm to help you manage your time in the course.

Curriculum

The online Project Management with AI Certificate Program consists of four online self-paced courses spanning the full spectrum of the project management experience. Students must take the courses in sequential order, as each course builds upon the knowledge and skills developed in the previous one. All four are required to earn your certificate:

• PMP-X862 Scope & Schedule Performance Domains
• PMP-X863 Finance & Stakeholder Performance Domains
• PMP-X864 Resource & Risk Performance Domains

Our instructors, most of whom hold advanced degrees, are experienced practitioners and subject matter experts who engage each student in a stimulating and participative learning environment. Meet a few of your Project Management Certificate program instructors: 

Marie Struttmann, PMP, is a program manager and consultant with broad experience in leading manufacturing and operations teams through organizational change both as a senior leader and project manager. She holds an MBA with a focus on organizational change from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kentucky. Her additional certifications include Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Marie has been recognized and honored for her success and expertise in business transformation, continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma across multiple industries. She has served on the executive board and is a mentor for PMI-SD.

Robert Key, PMP, is passionate about his work as a project manager and college professor. He served in the U.S. Air Force for nearly a decade and has earned both an MBA and a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd). Robert’s commitment to lifelong learning is evidenced by his wide range of professional certifications. In addition to Project Management Professional, these include Certified Professional Scrum Master, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Agile Certified Practitioner and Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect.
