This course allows participants to further explore major cultural shifts and discuss or debate their potential impact on students' social-emotional development and behavior, as well as strategies for addressing these issues in an educational setting. The readings build on concepts introduced in the original New Normal course (not a prerequisite) and are selected to promote critical thinking and dialogue, rather than offer definitive answers. Participants will read the selected titles and meet virtually with their Professional Learning Team to share insights and make both personal and professional connections. A final reflection paper will be submitted to the instructor at the end of the course.
