During this Community of Learning, Best Practices will be facilitated, and staff are to implement these strategies with fidelity incorporating one or elements of Writing-Inquiry-Collaboration-Organization-Ready (WICOR) into their content area on a weekly basis which support Cognia Standard #3. Participants will learn how to develop and incorporate WICOR into their curriculum that will best prepare students for the rigors of high school credit courses, honors and advanced placement courses, and other college and career readiness skills. Participants will be asked to facilitate one or more meetings to encourage the role of a teacher leaders within their respective departments/content areas. This class will support teacher leaders by encouraging teacher agency and developing their capacity to lead through supporting learning networks and inspiring the cultivation of innovative best practices to share with others.
Number of Units: 3.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
