Junior Bootcamp will focus on an overview of the curriculum covered during the students’ junior year. Special emphasis will be given to maintaining an AVID portfolio, increasing rigor in tutorials, preparing for personal statement writing, best reading and writing practices for college entrance exams, planning a College Junior Road Trip, and more!

  • Receive continuous support throughout the year to be able to teach the AVID 11th grade curriculum to fidelity
  • Hone skills to teach the AVID curriculum WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, Reading), as well as the junior curriculum that includes, but is not limited to, AVID portfolio, personal statements and preparing for college entrance/placement exams
