Become a Courageous Leader

In partnership with the University of San Diego's, the Conscious Leadership Academy, and led by certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator and Executive Director of the Conscious Leadership Academy, Dr. Lorri Sulpizio, the Dare To Lead™ Leadership Program will provide participants with the skills to strengthen their leadership capacity, by moving from armored leadership to daring leadership in any arena, industry or context.

The greatest barrier to daring leadership is not fear; the greatest barrier is armor – how we self-protect when we feel uncertain. The Dare to Lead™ Leadership Program, is an empirically based, courage-building methodology based on four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable.

Dr. Brene´ Brown’s research reveals that the ideal leader is someone who cultivates a culture in which brave work, tough conversations, and whole hearts are the expectation. These skill sets are: Rumbling with vulnerability, Living into our values, Braving trust and Learning to rise.

The designation of COVID-19 as a pandemic requires the University of San Diego to take steps towards emergency response. Our primary focus remains on the health and safety of our campus community and their families, it is abundantly clear that additional actions are necessary as we also wish to reduce the impact on health care systems and allow them to focus on the most vulnerable members of the community. The University of San Diego is mandating campus-wide remote teaching through the end of the spring semester due to COVID-19 precautions. This course will now be taught via Zoom until further notice. Registration will remain open until two days prior to course start.  Click here for the latest Information for USD on the Coronavirus
