We will read and discuss Kylene Beers book When Kids Can’t Read What Teachers Can Do, 2nd edition. Participants can get one credit for attending the meetings and participating in discussions. They can get two credits for writing a reflection on the book and our discussions. Three credits are offered for students who attend, write the reflections and also practice/implement some of the strategies with students and document the experience through a final presentation.
