Study the biography of a social changemaker of your choice, and examine how they impacted social, economic, and/or political structures to foster greater equality and justice. Use your research to create engaging, dynamic, and standard-based lessons and presentations for use in the classroom. At the same time, influence and inform your students of their own abilities to become changemakers in their own right.

Who Should Attend: This course is designed for both elementary and secondary level teachers that want to explore the life and legacy of a social changemaker of their choice, and want to integrate their learning into curriculum, as well as providing changemaking inspiration with students.
Required Materials: No materials are required, however you will be required to do research on the subject matter and may access resources on the Internet, your local or school library, or your local bookstore.
