  • Examine resources to differentiate science instruction based on WIDA proficiency descriptors
  • Watch and analyze videos about teaching science to ELLs
  • Read and discuss, Doing and Talking Science
  • Design a lesson plan to include appropriate supports for ELLs based on their ELP levels
  • Complete a final project that provides evidence of participant learning and application to your professional context (administrator, ISS, ESOL teacher, general education teacher)
