Credit Validation for Jostens Participants Only 

Learn, network and re-energize at the truly outstanding, definitely worth-your-time Jostens Adviser University. A premier continuing education opportunity for journalism advisers, Jostens Adviser University offers an experience relevant to beginning and experienced advisers. A wide-range of classes focused on practical teaching strategies and methodologies, as well as opportunities for networking make JAU a truly outstanding workshop.

Participants will select one of five specialized content tracks for focused instruction (content, photography, leadership/management, new adviser, specialized programs). Each track and elective has a written component to reflect on learning.

Additionally, there is a portfolio assignment that has attendees approach their learning with a hands-on, proactive approach. Making plans that they will directly implement in the classroom in the coming year. Attendee can repeat this course, selecting a different track each time.

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for Middle and High School Journalism Educators.
