This course will provide students with an overview and fundamental understanding of the concepts essential to anatomical pathology, imaging and documentation management, laboratory, microbiology, outreach laboratory and laboratory mobile phlebotomy, in relation to diagnostic services electronic health records. Students will engage and understand the associated desktops and the interdisciplinary processes within each to carry out efficient and safe care of patients. We will explore how each diagnostic EHR program can be tailored to match each caregiver’s unique work?ow or job description, while maintaining and achieving policy and regulatory requirements
