Graduate with the knowledge and skills to fluently teach yoga to kids ages 18 months-18 years. Study all the following topics with a trauma-sensitive, youth-specific lens:
Number of Units: 1.0 - 7.5/8.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours. Those interested in earning the Children's Yoga Teacher Certification must enroll in the 8.0 unit with certificate option.
Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for educators, childcare professionals, yoga teachers, and others who serve children (including but not limited to Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and Pediatricians).
Directions to Enrolled Participants for University Credit: Submit your Certificate of Completion by email to [email protected] after enrolling for credit and completing the course.
Prerequisites:
None, but an RYT-200 designation is strongly recommended for all; RYT-200 or above is required for candidates who wish to register with Yoga Alliance upon completion of the course.
