This course equips middle school educators with strategies and tools to foster a classroom environment focused on critical thinking. Participants will explore 14 essential factors influencing student thinking, learning to implement both macro- and micro-moves to enhance cognitive engagement in their classrooms. Through a mix of in-person sessions, reflective discussions, and practical applications, teachers will gain the skills needed to create a dynamic learning atmosphere that promotes student autonomy and critical thinking.
