AVID Extended Learning Pathways professional learning is an opportunity for Community of Practice members to choose two learning journeys as extensions of their learning experience from AVID DigitalXP. This allows participants to build on their knowledge of identified topics of interest (such as Academic Language Development, WICOR, Literacy, and Student and Educator Agency) through participating in the two sessions of synchronous and asynchronous learning. Each session culminates with 30 minutes of synchronous reflection, celebration, and planning. New learning will be applied in participants’ schools/districts. This professional learning experience for AVID DigitalXP attendees can earn .5 units of graduate level extension credit (in semester hours) for attending and completing all aspects of the training that includes active participation in the course and completion of all assignments. Participants can apply for university credit up to six weeks after completion.
Number of Units: .5 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
