Credit Validation for NCTE Participants Only

At the 2022 English Language Arts Teacher Educators Summer Conference, "ELA Teaching and Learning as Homeplace" we invite English language arts teacher educators and other members of literacy communities to consider homeplace in order to think with additional theories and ways of knowing and being that inform ELA.

A reflection paper is required.

Learner Outcomes

  • Prepared with classroom ideas, original writing of their own, strategies for advocacy, and much more
  • Implement new ideas and be inspired, ready to share with students, colleagues, and communities

Course Details

Number of Units:  2.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend:  This course provides continuing education for literacy educators from across the country, looking for inspiration and to rejuvenate their profession.  They will find new strategies for reaching their students, new allies in the work of excellent teaching, new connections with luminaries in the field and authors they admire, and enough new books to fill entire shelves in their classroom libraries.

Course Format:  Conference, plus post-work

Refund Policy:  All Credit Validation enrollments are refundable, less a $25 fee, if requested within 30 days of enrollment date. There will be no refunds for Credit Validation after the allotted 30 days.
