The Graduate Management Admission Test, commonly known as the GMAT, has long been an important part of the business school application process. This GMAT test prep course develops reasoning and analytical skills along with principles of writing for students to master all aspects of this rigorous 4-hour examination.
The GMAT presents multiple-choice questions that measure verbal, quantitative (math) and analytical skills. The five types of multiple-choice questions include:
- Problem Solving
- Data Sufficiency
- Critical Reasoning
- Sentence Correction
- Reading Comprehension
- Note: Integrated Reasoning and Analytical Writing Assessment are scored separately.
The University of San Diego’s highly regarded GMAT test prep course is taught by experienced instructors on our campus in sunny San Diego, as well as online.
Comprehensive GMAT Prep Process
- Together we’ll review each question type to help you assess your strengths and weaknesses. Our instructors take the exam apart to show you how it is put together, teaching you specific strategies and tactics for each type of question.
- Learn the format and content of the GMAT and examine algebra, geometry and English language concepts, as well as overall skills and strategies for success on standardized exams.
- Estimate your actual test scores prior to the real exam. The course provides practice GMATs for self-evaluation.
At USD, you also have the option of retaking the course within a one-year period without paying additional tuition! (Note: A $25 student processing fee is required for course retakes.)
