Real Estate Capstone - REP-X811
Course Description
Putting Together All That You have Learned About The World Of Real Estate
Previously titled Real Estate Process Seminar
This Capstone seminar sums up the entire curriculum by melding each of the subject areas to achieve a workable personal implementation strategy for your business and your career. We will start with a summary of the state of the market. Then, we will turn to practical lessons to getting deals done, including discovering the deal, analyzing the market opportunity, conceptualizing the project, penciling it out financially, negotiating the purchase and achieving entitlements. We will discuss “war stories” of why some deals fail and others succeed. A downtown walking tour featuring the development history of certain projects will be offered to students that have enrolled in the seminar. See section notes for more information.
