Course Description

Credit Validation for San Bernardino Participants Only

This training is for all secondary content teachers and AVID Elective teachers. Attendees will learn the five phases of Focused Note-taking and the implementation in their own classrooms. The training will provide opportunities for attendees to see examples of a variety of notes from all grade levels and content areas.

Number of Units: 0.5 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for secondary content teachers who want to enhance student’s use of notes in their content classes, as well as AVID Elective teachers who would like to support notetaking across all content areas for AVID students.
