Course Description

Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

Based on the book “The Complete EdTech Coach” by Adam Juarez and Katherine Goyette, this course covers the philosophy, pedagogy, and mechanics of the job, as well as the professional and personal growth of an EdTech coach. You will read selected chapters and highlight reels from the book each month and apply the concepts to your own workplace. You will also use Flip to create and share video logs of your progress, challenges, and successes, and to provide feedback and encouragement to your peers. This course is suitable for aspiring and practicing EdTech coaches who want to learn from two successful EdTech Coaches, and to connect with a community of like-minded professionals. The course is flexible and generally self-paced. By the end of the course, you will have a portfolio of evidence of your learning and growth as an EdTech coach, and a plan for next steps.
