This graduate course was designed for DoDEA world language teachers, administrators, and ISSs to build capacity to support student language acquisition and increase growth in interpersonal communication. The course will focus on active engagement strategies and integrating games into the core curricular content. The course will be broken down into four modules:
1) Setting the Purpose for Games in the World language Classroom
2) Connecting Games to Core Curricular Materials
3) Building Differentiation into World Language Games
4) Sharing Final Projects -Application of Learning into Instruction
Number of Units: 1.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
