Patterns, habits, and addictions can create challenges for us and our clients when we lose control over them or they take us away from all we can do and be. To shift them, we must first develop more awareness about them, because one of their strengths is hiding and rationalizing.
In this course, you will learn how and why patterns, habits, and addictions are formed, and why all humans have them Compassionately unearth the strategies patterns, habits, and addictions use to take hold within us. Explore the relationship between trauma and addiction Unearth and examine our own habits and addictions (or those of our clients) with compassion. Analyze the role of family and upbringing in patterns, habits, and addictions. Comprehend the relationship between codependency and addictions. Develop concrete, compassionate strategies to address patterns, habits, and addictions you feel ready to shift/to help your clients shift.

Open to anyone who wants to explore the role of patterns, habits, and addictions in their lives or in the lives of their clients. We are modifications-friendly, trauma-sensitive, and inclusive, no physical yoga is required, and no meditation experience is necessary. We will offer practices of yoga, pranayama, and meditation. Modifications are available and encouraged. We will teach from the tradition of Kundalini Yoga; all lineages.
