National History Day® (NHD), in conjunction with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, will be offering a Landmarks of American History institute in the summer called Freedom Summer: 60 Years Later. The program includes three live webinars with expert historians and an NHD curriculum specialist. Teachers will read the latest scholarship, engage in three virtual programs, and attend a live institute.
