Credit Validation for Overseas Art Education Association Participants Only

In this course, participants will gain in-depth knowledge, skills, and understanding of how traditional and non-traditional art media can enhance engagement and foster the development of both visual art and language arts skills in students. The DoDEA anchor standards for writing, including the use of precise language and domain-specific vocabulary, will be integrated into the course as they align with the visual art anchor standards: Create, Respond, Present, and Connect.

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for Overseas Art Education Association Participants.

Prerequisites: Experience in visual art education and an interest in collaborating with other art educators.
