Bring a More Dynamic, Competency-Based Learning Approach to Your Classroom. Traditional educational models based on time-bound grades and credits are increasingly seen as inadequate. These models often fail to reflect actual skills and knowledge applicable in professional settings. There is a critical need to transition towards a more dynamic, competency-based learning approach that aligns with real-world applications and experiential learning. This course is designed to address this gap by equipping educators and trainers with the necessary strategies to implement experiential learning and assessment in their programs. The course will focus on developing a framework where learning outcomes are defined by the competencies students must demonstrate while incorporating personalized learning, rather than the hours spent in a classroom. This approach not only makes learning more relevant to professional environments but also empowers learners to take charge of their education according to their pace and ability. Furthermore, this course will provide tools and methodologies for authentic assessments that evaluate practical skills and problem-solving abilities over theoretical knowledge. This shift is essential for empowering leaders and learners who are not only knowledgeable but also capable of applying their skills innovatively in their respective fields.
