The Carnegie Foundation Summit on Improvement in Education provides a unique opportunity for a vibrant and diverse community committed to improvement in education to come together to learn with and from each other. It is the landmark event for champions of educational equity. At the Summit, we celebrate the innovators and improvers who are building systems that better serve teachers, students, and communities. The Summit brings together a community of movement makers who are actively learning and sharing strategies to create processes that empower educators and generate lasting momentum. In addition to hearing from inspiring keynote speakers, participants can attend breakout session presentations, workshops, and roundtables in three strands: Improvement for Impact Stories, Tools & Methods Stories, and Exploration & Discovery Stories.

Number of Units: 1.5 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for education professionals as well as community members and students. Roles represented at the Summit include elementary and secondary school teachers; leaders of schools, districts, state and local education agencies, charter management organizations and professional organizations; entrepreneurs; college and university faculty; and researchers.
