AVID District Director Leadership (DDL) 3 is designed for the AVID District Director and the AVID District Leadership Team to utilize the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework as a lens for supporting site-level implementation of the AVID College Readiness System (ACRS). AVID District Leadership Teams engage in a 12- hour training where they continue to reflect on and explore the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework to connect site implementation to district strategic plans and initiatives. Participants will utilize systems for progress monitoring and coaching as they visit AVID elementary and high school sites that demonstrate high expectations for all students using WICOR to support rigor.
Number of Units: 1.5 - 2.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours. Please register for section 001 if you are the primary enrollee and attended all 3 days. Section 002 is for the leadership team who attends 2 out of the 3 days.
Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for DDL 3 is designed for AVID District Directors and district leaders enhancing their AVID College and Career Readiness System for all students districtwide.
Prerequisites: Completion of DDL 1 and DDL 2.
Audience: Participants attending all 3 days of the training.
Refund Policy: All Credit Validation enrollments are refundable, less a $25 fee, if requested within 30 days of enrollment date. There will be no refunds for Credit Validation after the allotted 30 days.
