This course provides a comprehensive overview of world history, spanning from ancient civilizations to the modern era. Students will examine key events, cultures, movements, and ideas that have shaped human societies across continents and centuries. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, comparative analysis, and the development of historical inquiry skills. Topics include the rise and fall of empires, the influence of religion and philosophy, global trade networks, revolutions, industrialization, colonization, world wars, and contemporary global issues. Through the analysis of primary sources, discussions, projects, and research, students will gain a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of past and present and the diverse experiences of people throughout history.
