National History Day® (NHD) offers a course for teachers focused on African American history. The course includes four live webinars led by expert historians and NHD curriculum specialists. It highlights four emerging topics in African American history, which are explored in-depth with leading experts. Participants will engage with the latest scholarship, take part in the live sessions, and develop a classroom activity incorporating primary sources and active learning strategies.
Number of Units: 3.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

National History Day Participants.
Audience: Teachers and librarians, grades K-12 accepted to this program.
Refund Policy: All Credit Validation enrollments are refundable, less a $25 fee, if requested within 30 days of enrollment date. There will be no refunds for Credit Validation after the allotted 30 days.
