Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

The 3-credit hour course will focus on the power of data analysis in continuous improvement. Participants will identify types of data that support decision-making, collect, analyze, and manage school-based data, prioritize data based on the purposes for analysis, receive an overview of data analysis and synthesis protocols, and receive guidance for planning for next steps in continuous improvement.

  • Communicate effectively using a shared vocabulary of data literacy and assessments
  • Help build a culture of data-informed decision making with their school
  • Analyze and interpret DoDEA agency-wide assessments for their faculty/colleagues using PEDMIS and other established protocols
  • Present assessment information based on their school data and prepare to lead data dialogues
  • Track their school data using research-based methodologies and best practices
  • Inform and assist Focused Collaboration Teams through the PEDMIS stages to identify learner challenges and progress monitor implementation
  • Align their School Action Plans with the District Action Plan, regional foci, the DoDEA BluePrint, and Cognia’s accreditation standards
