Course Description

Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

The course runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to approximately 3:00 PM each day.

Mornings typically consist of instructor-led sessions that introduce key concepts and include demonstrations.

Afternoons are dedicated to hands-on work, where students complete assignments at their own pace while the instructor and support staff circulate to provide guidance and troubleshooting.

Students will use iMac computers and the Bambu Lab X1C 3D printer with PLA filament. Each participant is provided with a roll of filament, and all equipment and materials are fully supplied by CMI2 at no cost.

Over the duration of the course, students will complete three practical printing projects:

  1. A custom dog tag or keychain
  2. A reverse engineering project
  3. A final design of their own creation
