Educators will learn effective strategies and best practices for designing and delivering instruction to all learners through the use of multiple intelligences models for learning in the K-12 learning environment. They will learn about students' multiple intelligences and learning styles through research and reflection. They will also learn about managing the day to day responsibilities of teaching students with different learning styles. Educators will apply their deep understanding of multiple intelligences models through the development of a comprehensive lesson plan.
Final submission for all sections is due on or before September 8, 2024. Transcripts will be issued no sooner than 7 days AFTER September 8, 2024.
Number or Units: 3.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for education professionals that want to create a blended learning environment. Implementing a blended learning environment in a student's educational career has shown to be successful in a range of K-12 classrooms including: under-performing, high ELL population and low socioeconomic. This includes elementary/secondary teachers, instructional coaches, curriculum coordinators, literacy coaches, Response to Intervention Teams, beginning teachers, technology coordinators and school administrative teams.
Course Format: Online Self-Paced, within given dates*. The course opens on Monday, July 8, 2024 and should be completed on or before Sunday, September 8, 2024
