Credit Validation for San Bernardino Participants Only

This series of monthly workshops will help new secondary coordinators navigate the tasks associated with their new role. Each coordinator will have an opportunity to review the AVID Center general data, CCI, systems of AVID, and managing the AVID College Readiness System. This training series is highly recommended for all new AVID secondary site coordinators.

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for first and second year AVID site coordinators. Other attendees might also include district liaisons, instructional coaches, etc. who might be working to support newer AVID teams.

  • Understand and utilize all four domains of the Coaching and Certification Instrument
  • Familiarize yourself with the coordinator checklist and ways to ensure that checklist items are completed by the AVID team
  • Learn how to manage their elective team and site team as well as building relationships with site administration, site leadership team, and teachers across campus
