This course will introduce educators to basic Google tools to help them become more comfortable and confident to effectively and efficiently implement Google tools to maximize student learning in the classroom. Educators will be able to immediately implement what they have learned with their students.
Number of Units: 1.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
Who Should Attend: This course is designed for both elementary and secondary level teachers who are new to Google's Suite of applications and want to learn how to effectively and efficiently add them into their teaching practice to enhance student learning. This is ideal for those transitioning from traditional to remote teaching and learning; as well as returning back to the classroom.
Required Materials: There are no textbook requirements for this course. A Google account and Google Chrome web browser are necessary to successfully complete this course.

Our online self-paced courses are similar to online fixed-date courses, but are designed to give you a six-month period from time of enrollment to complete all assignments. My experience in Learning Readiness with Basic Google Tools was everything I could have hoped for and more! This class gave me the basics in Google Tools that I did not have much experience with in the classroom.
