Credit Validation for California Global Education Project Participants Only

K-12 teachers participate in a multi-day institute, that focuses on global competence, environmental literacy and justice, and student agency to address sustainable development goals within their communities. Course will consist of lectures, panel presentations, readings, discussions, and instructional planning, implementation, and reflection.  Each section offered is presented in a different format with dates/format/locations varying.  Choose your section by your district locale:

  • San Diego - Hybrid (002)
  • Fullerton/Santa Barbara - Fully Online (003)
  • Long Beach - Hybrid (004)

Number of Units: 3.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for K-12 teachers (all disciplines).


2-3 years teaching experience.
