Credit Validation for DoDEA Participants Only

This course is designed to help educators think both broadly and specifically about how best to promote nondiscriminatory practices and the empowerment of families and communities. Centered around the National Association of School Psychologists' Social Justice Committee's National Book Read 2022-2023 school year book, "Troublemakers: Lessons in Freedom from Young Children at School," students will be asked to consider how the issues discussed in the book connect to social justice for youth and families and about culturally responsive professional practice and advocacy they can implement in order to create schools, communities, and systems which ensure equity and fairness for all children and youth.
