Credit Validation for Guam Department of Education Participants Only 

This course reflects on the principles and practice of information services pertaining to reference materials and resources in a school library especially the changes influenced by technology. The course examines the roles and responsibilities of a school librarian in examining, selecting, and use of reference materials and resources. It includes print and digital reference materials and resources appropriate for elementary and secondary school libraries. The selection and use of general and specialized reference in various subjects. Provides practical experience in search techniques for basic and useful reference sources.

Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for Guam educators and librarians.
