It was wonderful to be able to compile curriculum and earn credit for it, since this is something that I have to do anyway in order to do my job! I was also able to put together a comprehensive curriculum for my small school district, and I am grateful for the opportunity to get feedback on this resource.
I was able to thoughtfully organize an entire unit of curriculum to present to students in the fall. The opportunity to refresh, improve, and expand course content is a brilliant use of time and professional development!
I have gotten so much value from the curriculum design and writing courses! It gave me the time and drive to sit down and really focus on my curriculum. I have been able to create some really powerful curriculum that I would probably not have otherwise done!
This is definitely one of my favorite classes. I can tailor it to the needs of my classroom and I always walk away with usable material.
