Due to COVID-19, many districts, schools, and educators are currently required to provide remote teaching and learning. This experience has already begun to transform the way teachers teach and learners learn. Remote teaching has the potential to become a permanent option within the educational system. This course will introduce and support educators with effective strategies and best practices for designing and delivering online instruction to all learners.
Participants will learn about managing the day-to-day responsibilities of remote teaching and learning, collaborating with parents, keeping learners safe online, and engaging learners in real-world applicable activities.
Number of Units: 2.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours
Who Should Attend: This course provides continuing education for K-12 educators, administrators, and any other interested stakeholder, wanting to learn about and understand teaching remotely to continue student learning.

Our online self-paced courses are similar to online fixed-date courses, but are designed to give you a six-month period from time of enrollment to complete all assignments.
