This course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts and principles of organization and administration of the school library media center. This course examines the roles and responsibilities of a librarian to operate and supervise a library media center by understanding the principles and processes in library administration. It include policies, procedures, acquisitions, cataloging, circulation, maintaining the collection, collaboration with the school community, information literacy, and its daily operation to establish an effective library media center.
