Credit Validation for NCTE Participants Only

The 2022 NCTE Homecoming summer conference will serve as the signature NCTE experience of the summer, consolidating several different traditional stand-alone events into one, including the biennial Affiliate Leadership Meeting. This conference will include focused content emphasizing topics such as critical media literacy and intellectual freedom.

A reflection paper is required.

Number of Units:  2.0 graduate level extension credit(s) in semester hours

Who Should Attend:  This course provides continuing education for literacy educators from across the country, looking for inspiration and to rejuvenate their profession.  They will find new strategies for reaching their students, new allies in the work of excellent teaching, new connections with luminaries in the field and authors they admire, and enough new books to fill entire shelves in their classroom libraries.
