English Language Academy Prospective Students
Located on the beautiful campus of the University of San Diego, renowned for its beauty and Spanish Renaissance-inspired architecture, the English Language Academy (ELA) offers classes taught by experienced, enthusiastic instructors.
The ELA staff is committed to preparing students to succeed in the social and academic communities of the university, as well as their lives outside the university. The friendly and dedicated staff is here to help students with academic planning, housing, visa processing, social activities, and campus functions. Programs range from:

Application Process:
An application is available for download for the Intensive English Language Program (IELP). We strongly encourage applicants to apply in advance of the program start date in order to secure the F-1 student visa and housing.
Housing:
The ELA provides assistance with on-campus housing for the IELP and USD Pathway Program students. Traditional and flexible meal plans are available for purchase by on-campus residents.
Junior program students stay in the university’s residence halls.
