  • All classes are scheduled in the evening from 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm to accommodate  busy professionals
  • A two-week break from classroom scheduling occurs after each of the five DMAIC modules to ensure enough time to successfully complete each phase of the project in work-based activities

Instructors

Courses are taught by faculty from the USD Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering, who are also currently working in the field. The instructors in this program have many years of combined experiences, tales from the trenches, actual case scenarios and expertise to share with all Lean and Six Sigma students.

Curriculum

The Lean and Six Sigma curriculum is based on the American Society for Quality (ASQ) “Body of Knowledge” to Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC). A detailed schedule each semester facilitates student studies in a manageable and organized way to ensure skill development while continuing to work full time.
